Grand Master's

St. John's Day Banquet

Screen Shot 2022-03-04 at 8.00_edited.png

The Feast of St. John the Baptist is one of the oldest Masonic observances recorded. Since almost time immemorial, the beginning of the Masonic year and the marking of the summer solstice was a time of celebration among Freemasons. Though somewhat of a lapsed tradition, the Grand Lodge of North Carolina has re-embraced this significant event on the Masonic calendar over the past several years. Please join Grand Master Kevan Frazier and your Grand Lodge Officers for a historic tyled Table Lodge that will mark the reintroduction of this significant Masonic celebration after nearly 200 years. The Grand Master and your Grand Lodge Officers will also use this day to mark the 150th Anniversary of the founding of the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford—an institution dedicated to our obligation as Masons to care for children in need. Celebrate with your brethren and join us in this St. John’s Day of giving—to commemorate our fraternity and our commitment to the welfare of children and the next generation.
